This year has been so manic with the wedding that I haven’t really been in top festive spirits like I normally am; so when I received an email from the lovely guys at Cartwright Comms inviting me to Intu Nottinghams Festive Blogger night, I hopped on it! We were told to bring an old jumper and that things were about to get creative.
When I arrived I was so excited to see a roaring fire on the big screen and several large comfy looking tweed sofas – (these were showcasing the new House of Fraser range; and although currently completely out of my budget, they were beautiful!) Upon arriving we were welcomed with a delicious cocktail called Thaikhun takeaway which was delicious! A couple of us local blogger went there a couple of a weeks back and I wrote a post about it all here.
We were then treated to an incredible FroYo from Sloane Bros. I had no idea what one of these had opened up in the Victoria Centre but there are so many amazing places popping up as part of their refurb and Sloane Bros is definitely worth a visit! I was so impressed and they really were works of art. I’m not really a big ice cream fan but love FroYo so I was over the moon!
Full on FroYo and cocktails, myself and my blogging bestie Molly got on and headed to the Christmas jumper decoration station which was being run by the lovely ladies at Super+Super. They were the nicest girls and there was SO much crafty goodness. Myself and Molly decided on a team effort and I think you’ll agree that the result really was pretty spectacular!
Lastly we got the chance to go downstairs and experience their Virtual Reality Experience which really was the strangest thing I have ever done. We popped on a headset and the aim of the game was to decorate your own Christmas tree. You can see me in action in this weeks weekly vlog!
It was soon time to say goodbye but myself Molly and Sherry ended up going for dinner at Zizzis in town. The service was terrible but the company was great and I thank my lucky stars to have met such wonderful girls!!
Thanks so much to Intu for an amazing evening!
