Take A Maxi Dress from Day To Night

I’m a chronic overpacker so when I was trying to come up with a selection of outfits to pack for our honeymoon, I tried to use key pieces which could be used during both the day and night. Khaki and browns really come into their own in my summer wardrobe and I love them combined with warm tones such as gold.

I recently picked up a £6 maxi dress from Primark (you can see it in my last video here) and I have several trusty brown bags (my holiday bag this year is a really old one I got in a market in Spain about 6 years ago!). In the same haul video I showed a small plaited belt I picked up in Primark too. You can’t go on holiday without a denim jacket in my opinion and I actually have several which I wear on rotation. I got one very similar to the one pictured from New Look a while back and they definitely have similar ones in now such as this one. The gold shoes are from Nine West, but New Look have a very similar pair for a bargain £15.99!
We don’t typically dress up in the evenings on holiday and I certainly won’t be packing heels (made that mistake last time and never wore them!) but I really like how I paired the same dress with the heels (New Look have loads, I love these ones) and a dainty necklace, I think it gives a different look to the outfit but without having to change too much!
What do you think?
