Hold the phone – BeautyBay are doing an incredible 30% discount sale right now so I thought I’d utilise my day off and share some of the gems I’ve found on there – I’ll be sharing what is on my wish list, a few stocking stuffers and also some more spendy (but heavily discounted) gifts.
ON MY WISHLIST
Earlier in the year I snagged the Violet Voss Holy Grail palette for a steal and I can’t tell you how much I’ve loved and used that palette. For that reason the I’m a Boss palette is definitely on my radar (and I’ve asked for it for Christmas from my mum!). Fantastic quality shadows for an amazing price (£43.00 to £30.09). Yaaaas! If you’re a big fan of neutral shadows, the Ride or Die palette has an insane discount from £70 to £48.99.
Love him or hate him, Jeffree Star has really made waves in the beauty world and his liquid lipsticks are some of my favourite, always opaque with a range of colours, they last on the lips for a lifetime. I’ve recently picked up on of his Christmas colours (sadly not on sale) but if you were interested in trying his formula, one of these boxes would serve you well. Having seen the sizes in person, they’re actually surprisingly large and would last you a decent amount of time. If I was going to purchase one (I already have 90% of the more wearable shades in full size) I’d definitely be scooping up the mini reds bundle which is a steal reduced from £45 to £31.50.
I’ve had my eyes on his shadow palettes for the longest time and have been kicking myself since last black Friday for not pciking them up on discount. This time round, they have both on in my basket. I can’t wait o try the Beauty Killer palette which has been reduced from £40 to £27, and also the Androgyny palette which has autumn winter written all over it.
PERFECT STOCKING STUFFERS
I love giving a fab beauty related stocking stuffer / present for my friends and family and there are so many good ones on BB currently.
For affordable eye shadows I don’t think you need to look much further than Zoeva – so many palettes to suit so many skin tones and preferences. The Plaisir Box which features some of their most popular (Cocoa Blend, Caramel Melange and Blanc Fusion) is reduced from £48 to £33.60 – meaning you could give this trio as a gift, or split down between friends for a fantastic gift. For the first time, Zoeva are also offering Christmas boxes such as this one called Spice of Life – fantastic value at £26.60 which included the eyeshadow, highlighter, pencil and lipstick. Also available in Caramel Melange and Cocoa Blend .
Who doesn’t want to be highlighted to hell over the festive period? This mini Ofra Rodeo Drive highlighter is a steal at £6.99 and would make a perfect stocking filler. These are buttery soft and come highly recommended for a reason. YES PLEASE.
A new Beauty Blender would go down a treat in my Christmas stocking and I know a lot of people who would also agree. A cult favourite now reduced to just over £10 makes it more attainable and a great gift.
Last by not least is the gem that is the BH Cosmetics Desert Oasis palette. My youtube fave Tati has talked about this a lot – I’d definitely be pleased to see this in my stocking! For a bargain £11.90, I don’t think you can go wrong.
FEELING A LITTLE MORE SPENDY?
The Stila magnificent metals went from Zero to Hero in 2017 -and 2018 for good reason. I actually filmed a video featuring them recently (perfect Christmas party makeup without being your typical gold and red look… hit me up!) and this years festive offering is looking all kinds of sexy. Reduced from £39 to £33.90, the Enchanted Eyes Set is a big fat yes from me.
A big lover of the This Works Sleep spray would welcome this fab The Big Sleep gift set with open arms – featuring their bath soak, night oil and pillow spray. Again this comes in at the slightly more pricey end of the spectrum but with a reduction from £70 to £48.99 I don’t think you can say no!
Who wouldn’t love a present that contains all the eye and face brushes they could ever need? Zoeva do some fantastic brushes and the Rose Gold Zol 1 Full Set would definitely bring a smile to someone’s face this Christmas. With 16 brushes for £77, it works out a mere £4.80 per brush. Bargain!
So there you have it – a small selection of fab bits from Beauty Bay. They really are one of my favourite places to shop beauty online. Have you seen anything you’ll be picking up? I’d love to hear.
